Migraines are a complex condition involving metabolic factors and physical issues.
The advanced migraine bundle is seven products designed around the best scientific evidence to support migraine sufferers.
The unifying issues most migraine patients have is a trio of:
- Inefficient energy production in the brain (inefficient mitochondria)
- Sustained low grade inflammation in the brain (Neuro-inflammation)
- Higher levels of free radical production with low levels of anti-oxidants, and thus oxidative damage in the brain as a result of the two other issues.
The advanced bundle supports efficient energy production via the One a Day Essential Multivitamin with high-dose B vitamins, CoQ10 (as Ubiqsome), magnesium (as glycinate and citrate), acetyl L carnitine for fat burning in the brain and alpha lipoic acid.
Inflammation in the brain can be brought down with magnesium, vitamin D and K2, CoQ10, Acetyl L carnitine and alpha lipoic acid.
Free radical production will drop as energy production becomes more efficient and inflammation comes down, plus alpha lipoic acid, supraoxide dismutase in Meta Boost, and CoQ10 are potent antioxidants.
High-dose viamin B2 (riboflavin) is used to further enhance energy production, and may help overcome genetic predispositions to migraine (likely around the MTHFR gene). Note the RDA/RI for B2 is 1.4mg, but multiple scientific studies have used 400 mg with excellent clincal outcomes. We have 50 mg within the One a Day Essential Multivitamin, and 175 mg per capsule of separate B2, with x2 B2 capsules daily and the One a Day Essential Multivitamin, gives the doses used in scientific trials of 400 mg total daily.
CoQ10 is delivered using the patented technology of phytosomes. Ubiqsome is tested to have far superior absorption that standard CoQ10 and has multiple human clinical trials to proven efficacy.
Acetyl L carntine is the only form of carnitine to cross the blood brain barrier.
Liposomal hydroxo B12 bypasses digestive blocks created by gut disorders such as IBS, inflammatory bowel disease like Crohns disease, and Coeliac disease. Some drugs may also block absorption or depleate reserves of B12 such as metformin, proton pump inhibitors (acid inhibitors) like ompeprazole, lansoperazole), gabapentin/pregabalin, L dopa. Liposomes are passively absorbed into the blood and then are taken directly into the cells, such as your brain cells.
